INTERNATIONAL JOY OF URDU CHAPTERS: Our mission is to facilitate and enable the ongoing revitalization of the Urdu language, in order to reclaim our literary heritage. On our 10th anniversary in 2023, we launched Joy of Urdu Bilingual Publications. The Joy of Urdu Reading Group Initiative is aimed at creating a space for beginners, and even advanced readers to start (or get back to) reading Urdu. We have Joy of Urdu Reading Groups in different cities in Pakistan and around the world, led by a team of dedicated volunteers who coordinate the meetings with reading guides/ leaders who lead the discussion, and where necessary, read along for the group. Lovers of Urdu, of all levels of proficiency are welcome.
