Dramatic changes in the world of work have made HR even more complex and challenging. It can be a tough job. This webinar will help you to ‘reach in’ to build inner strength, and ‘reach out’ to develop strong stakeholder support and increase organisational impact. HR people want to make a positive difference to both their organisations and to employees. This can create tensions and challenges. In this webinar we will explore how HR people can manage the impact of these different demands: - build inner strength and resources for the tough challenges faced; and - develop collaborative productive stakeholder relationships for better organisational outcomes. This webinar is for HR people at all levels who want to: • Clarify their personal priorities for 2023 • Decide where to focus their efforts – identify how to work on critical relationships • Gain new perspectives on self-esteem, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome to help them deliver on their plans. • Develop manageable changes to habits to facilitate: a) their increased wellbeing b) supportive stakeholder relationships that enable them to deliver more impact The session will be supported by the findings from research carried out by both Marion and Deborah, as well as research from CIPD and McKinsey. However, the focus will be on giving you their thoughts and perspectives on what would make a meaningful difference to both how we feel about our work and the difference we can each make. Marion Hewitt, FCIPD. She is an accredited trainer with Mental Health First Aid England, an assessor for level 7 HR CIPD qualifications, and an award-winning coach. Her works draws on positive psychology and she has conducted research into self-compassion in female HR professionals to align with her background within HR and belief in the value of the profession. Her signature programme is Unleashing You is an evidenced based programme for personal growth, increased performance, and enhanced wellbeing. It is ILM approved. Deborah Wilkes FCIPD has worked with leaders and managers for 25 years running development workshops and as a coach. Clients have included global, national and local organisations, private and public sector. She worked her way up in HR and set up and led UK and European HR functions. In 2016 Deborah began researching what makes great HR and Enable-HR International was born. Their unique framework of 7 HR Enablers facilitates development and also evaluation - self, team and 360. Deborah’s book ‘Enable HR’ was published in January 2021.
