Expressive Writing Zoom Workshop - Winter Session Event

About

The workshops will be about 60 minutes depending on the number of participants and how many choose to share. Why Writing? Studies show that putting your thoughts and feelings on paper can improve your wellbeing. Together we'll listen to a poem and then write whatever comes to mind for about 10 minutes. There are no right answers and you don't need to worry about spelling or grammar. The workshop is an opportunity to listen to yourself and discover what may be upsetting you or what delights you. We will observe how we feel after writing. Often participants feel a sense of release. Participants are then invited to share what they wrote, but are not required to. All are also invited to share how the other participants' responses resonate with them. Who is this class for? You! This class is for anyone who is interested in learning a new skill and being a part of a growing community. Accessibility Notes: Closed Captioning is available. Questions?
