Gartner predicts that by 2025, 70% of the applications built by enterprises will leverage low-code or no-code technologies. With the ever increasing demand for software resources and the shortage in supply especially with traditional software development technologies, it is only through low-code/no-code technologies that we will be able to bridge this very wide gap. Anybody can become a developer, low-code/no-code technologies give users the power to convert business logic into enterprise grade applications with little or no computer science nor software development background, and that is the purpose of this training, to show you how to leverage the Power Platform(our low-code/no-code technology of choice) in solving business challenges very quickly. In this training, the low-code/no-code technology we will be using is the Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate (If you do not have access please follow this guide to sign up for a free developer account), but the lessons in this training will cover the industry standard approach for developing software products that can be translated to any other low-code/no-code technology. Also, even though we will be focusing on the HR(Human Resources) function, the lessons in this training can be translated to any other function or use case. At the end of the training, we will have built one fully functional application that can be used in your organizations or that you can add to your developer portfolio.
