In this class I will take you through my thoughts on how slow stitching can support our mental health and well being. I will also demonstrate and set up an uplifting project to make. Yvonne shares her own journey and practices with you. She will introduce some mindful ways of well being whilst stitching, alongside the techniques and style of this movement in textiles. We will cover some of the influences of SLOW stitch including, Japanese boro, kantha work and the materials that are useful to work with.
